Roberto Federici

Roberto Federici holds a law and a business degree, he graduated in Law from Universidade Cândido Mendes (UCAM), Postgraduate in Economic and Business Law at Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV), Master in Public Law & Regulation from the University of Coimbra ( Cedipre), he holds an Executive MBA at Fundação Dom Cabral and Post MBA on Kellog Business Scholl – Northwestern University, He is fluent in English and Spanish.

His practice has always been focused on Contractual, Corporate, Project Finance, M&A and Infrastructure Law, he has solid experience in corporate law, project finance, Construction Contracts and domestic and international arbitrations. He also has extensive experience in the infrastructure sectors, notably Energy and Telecommunications.

Among other prominent positions, he was Global Vice President and General Counsel at Contour Global, and General Counsel Norte Energia (Belo Monte) and Gás Natural Açu (GNA). Roberto Federici was awarded with several “Deal of the Year” awards in the area of Project Financing.

He was a professor at the Graduate Course in Energy Law at FGV. Roberto is a Member of the Legal Council of the Commercial Association of Rio de Janeiro and currently is also a Vice President of the Energy Commission of the Federation of Foreign Trade Chambers.
