Fabiana Machado has been working in the public sector since 2004, as an attorney at law for the State of Rio de Janeiro, having held several positions at the governmental administration, especially as a consultant for State Secretaries.
She’s served as chief for the consulting department at the State General Attorney’s Office between 2014 and 2018, with major focus on public procurement.
Fabiana holds a Master of Laws in Public Law by the University of the State of Rio de Janeiro (2008).
She is the author of the articles “Notes on State Act n. 46.425/2018, which regulates arbitration within the Public Administration in the State of Rio de Janeiro”, published by Revista Brasileira de Arbitragem nº 58 – Abr-Jun/2018, and “Ethics in the public sector: governance and compliance as tools for promoting honest behaviour and preventing crimes”, published by Atas do I Curso Sobre Mecanismos de Prevenção e Combate à Corrupção na Administração Pública, Coord.
