PVS Advogados is the new name of Pimentel, Vega, Smilgin, Souza e Lima Advogados, which will celebrate a decade of operation in 2025.
According to partner Mariana F. Souza , the change aims to reflect the maturity the firm has achieved over this period.
"My partners and I felt the need to express our positioning more clearly and objectively: to be a boutique dispute resolution firm. In short, we formalized a conceptual change that had been occurring over these 10 years and which, without a doubt, projects our commitment for the future," says Mariana.
According to the partner, the change in identity does not alter the essence of the firm for its clients. The goal is to strengthen the firm's market position and reaffirm its tradition, projecting into the future. "It's an aesthetic evolution, but also a strategic one, since it more accurately reflects what we have already practiced and will continue to practice," she adds.
PVS Advogados intends to expand its operations sustainably, prioritizing complex cases. Furthermore, the firm will seek to adopt more technological solutions to optimize process management, strengthen its presence in institutional entities, and support initiatives focused on diversity, innovation, and ethics in legal practice. Mariana states that this is a phase of consolidation and qualified expansion.
"We hope to strengthen our performance in dispute resolution, expand dialogue with the market, and continue to be a benchmark in technical quality and legal security. Our expectation is to continue growing in a solid and orderly manner, without abandoning the values that have brought us this far," concludes the partner.
