Leonardo Corrêa

Leonardo is a lawyer, graduated from PUC-Rio in 2000 and holds an LL.M from the University of Pennsylvania, class '08, where he concentrated his studies on Contracts, Complex Litigation, Corporate Law, Negotiation and Dispute Resolution. He was an associate at Machado Meyer, in the period between 2001 and 2011; and at Brandão Couto, Wigderowitz and Pessoa from 2011 to 2015. During this period, he was recognized several times in the English publication Chambers & Partners. He then served as Legal Manager for Merck S.A. (Brazil), where he received the "Latin American Counsel Awards - Individual Litigation" award from the International Law Office - Association of Corporate Counsel in 2016. He lectured on the Nature of Complex Litigation, Negotiation, Arbitration and Economic Analysis of Law - both in AASP and Insper -, as well as lecturing for the Postgraduate Program at Getúlio Vargas Foundation in Rio de Janeiro. He writes regularly for CONJUR, Jota and Migalhas, and also has an article published in O Globo ("Caminhos para a Suprema Corte e o STF").
